![]() This can be used to fix bugs to stop progression deletion at least for the host. Forcekicking is a handy technique where you can turn off your LogMeIn Hamachi Network to kick people at will, this can be done by left clicking on a network and then shortly after double clicking on the same network. Incredible difference in region: I have friends on Neptune and they cannot join me, their internet is not as advanced as you might think.īut seriously, if you live in England or France (or wherever you might live, this is simply my example from personal experience) and your friend lives in Australia then you're gonna have a bad time, I have seen server crashes where it is impossible to revive people, until everyone dies apart from me, and it becomes a large wipe as I end up having to forcekick everybody. I am as of yet still not sure why this is. Five is the maximum number of players, this may be because of who I usually play with, but I have never seen over five, and whenver any-one tries to join me when there are already five people it simply does not work not varied by whom might be joining, or by whom might be hosting. Personally, I have twelve Hamachi Networks for various people, and as long as you always host this never becomes an issue, however the host must be connected to everyone connected as far as I know. ![]() Without paying, you can only have five people per network, you are a person so this means four others. I have seen people setting up hamachi correctly, but not the ingame multiplayer part properly, remember only click join once and then wait, if that does not work then go to the main menu and try again, and you do not need to set up a seperate server using a modified copy of the game executable, one person clicks host, the others must join their IP ![]() This section contains reasons that you may not be able to join your friend (or have them not able to join you) We have now reached the regularly-updating, frequently-changing, super-cool, mega-awesome and apparently it has now become the very hyphenated section of the guide. This has been my guide on how to set up your Hamachi Network and a Roguelands server, and let your friends play with you! Now, before we start, any unrelated or pointless comments will be removed here's an example of a comment that will be deleted: "ill have open ports HA-HA"Ģ: Into the search bar, type "Unmanaged Hamachi" or "or "Hamachi download"Īll of them should work, if one does not then try another.ģ: The top result should be 4: Literally in the middle of the screen it says "Download now".Ħ: Download finishes, open up LogMeIn Hamachi and make an account.ħ: Now, you should be given a small rectangular box, this is your hamachi window, it should be turned off, so click the power button at the top left of the window, if it is already on, however, then do not press it, your on/offline status will be indicated by either a grey or a blue/yellow hamachi power button, grey is off, blue/yellow is on.ĩ: On the tap opened by clicking "Network" click on "Create a new network.".ġ0: Type in the Network ID (This will be the name of your Network) and your Network Password, these will be the name and the password of your network Remember these!ġ1: Tell your client (Person joining your network) to click "Network"ġ3: Tell your client what the network ID and Password are, (these are what you just typed to create your network, but now they will have to type them to join your network.ġ4: They are now in your network, so now you need them to join your Roguelands server, so both open Roguelands and click play, select your character and go into multiplayer.ġ6: Everyone else, though, must join you via your Internet Protocol (IP) which is shown in hamachi, for the host it will be at the top of the hamachi window to the right of the On/Off button, for everyone else it will be in the server after expanding the Network tab below the On/Off button, so make sure everybody knows the IP.ġ7: Those joining must click "Join" in the multiplayer section of Roguelands and enter the IP and Port (The Port is ALWAYS 7777 in Roguelands, NEVER type anything else in the port, just leave it at 7777)ġ9: This will Add the server to your server list, (one could always delete these later if they run out of space, so don't worry about that.) now click on the server that has been addedĢ0: Wait to be beamed in to the host's ship and have fun together!
